01 The client
Lena Starr is a painter who has worked in oil, acrylic and mixed media for over twenty years, guided by the line Walk Like a Panther. Her website shows selected works and takes enquiries about available works, exhibitions, commissions and collaborations.
02 The brief
Viewers should feel the force of her painting and write to her about an available work or a commission.
03 The idea
Her inward gaze becomes a camera move through the pupil of her painting The Green Eye. Behind it lies the next painting, and its centre is a gate again, until the journey ends back in the eye. Every stop is one of her real paintings.
04 The loop
It starts the moment a visitor scrolls to it, without sound and without a play button.
